The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position at the UF is a highly visible leadership role that serves as a strategic partner to the President, Provost, and other senior leaders, while engaging frequently with the Board of Trustees. It is expected that the next CFO be someone who possesses the agility, horsepower, and value-additive mindset to realize the One UF vision for the entirety of the university’s portfolio of operations and $10B budget. Reporting directly to the President, the CFO will be an energetic and accomplished financial leader with a passion for the mission and core values of the University of Florida. The CFO serves as an institutional catalyst, stimulating sound financial management practices across the organization that support both change and the achievement of the strategic and financial objectives of the University. The CFO also serves as a role model for how to engage a variety of individuals with different perspectives to develop creative solutions to resources constraints.
