DeVoe Automotive Group, an established family-owned business nestled in the scenic heart of Naples, Florida, is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to lead our financial strategy and operations. As CFO, you will play a pivotal role in navigating the financial landscape of the automotive industry, ensuring compliance, and spearheading financial planning initiatives to propel our company forward. This role demands a proactive leader who possesses a profound understanding of the financial intricacies specific to the automotive sector, coupled with a dynamic approach to capitalizing on opportunities and overcoming challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial operations including accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal and property management. Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team participating in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model, and operational execution. Manage company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, disposals, and acquisitions. Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance. Conduct analysis to make forecasts. Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies.
Qualifications:
Minimum requirement of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry in a high level Accounting and Financial position preferably as CFO. Certified Public Accountant is a plus. Experience with General Motors dealership operations preferred. Proficiency with Reynolds & Reynolds dealership management software preferred. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven negotiation skills and a strategic thinker. Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills. Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written. Professional appearance and outstanding work ethic. Positive outlook with a high-energy personality.
