JobDetails Job Details:
Our company is seeking a dynamic andexperienced CFO to lead our financial team. The ideal candidatewill have a strong background in both finance and management, witha proven track record in the Hospitality/CPG industry. The CFO willplay a key role in the company’s strategic planning and growth,providing financial insights and advice to our senior managementteam. This position will be responsible for managing all financialoperations, including cash flow, forecasting, monthly reporting,revenue, and P&L.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all financialoperations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.2. Coordinate, analyze, and report the financial performance toManagement and Board of Directors (financial performance,projections and other special projects as required). 3. Prepareshort and long-term financial forecasts of financial performancefor use with internal management and external parties. 4. Overseeaudit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside auditfirms and review firms’ performance. 5. Develop, implement andmaintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures fora wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting andreporting, employee relations (hiring/terminating policies) andother corporate policies. 6. Proficiency in all aspects ofcorporate accounting and all pertinent
GAAP, SEC
rules andregulations including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. 7. Responsible forall corporate and human resource activities including employeebenefits, retirement plans, corporate insurance and relatedactivities. This includes the coordination of these activities withall satellite offices as well. 8. You must have experience inpartnering with an executive team, and have a high level of writtenand oral communication skills. 9. Develop and implement finance,accounting, billing, and auditing procedures. 10. Establish andmaintain appropriate internal control safeguards. 11. Interact withother managers to provide consultative support to planninginitiatives through financial and management information analyses,reports, and recommendations. 12. Ensure records systems aremaintained in accordance with generally accepted auditingstandards. 13. Develop and direct the implementation of strategicbusiness and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems.14. Assist in obtaining the necessary licenses and insurancerequired to start a business. 15. Analyze cash flow, cost controls,and expenses to guide business leaders. Analyze financialstatements to pinpoint potential weak areas. 16. Establish andimplement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives,policies, and operating procedures. 17. Serve on planning andpolicy-making committees. 18. Oversee financial management offoreign operations to include developing financial and budgetpolicies and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree inFinance, Accounting or Business with strong Accounting experience.2. Five (5) years in a position equivalent to a CFO or equivalentexperience in the Hospitality/CPG industry. 3. CPA or MBApreferred. 4. Strong experience in ERP implementation andmanagement. 5. Experience with fund accounting and financialanalysis. 6. Proven experience developing KPI metrics and leadingan entire financial department. 7. Strong knowledge of GAAP, debtand equity financing, and cash flow analysis. 8. Proficiency withERP systems. 9. Excellent leadership and team management skills.10. Strong analytical, strategic planning and communication skills.11. High proficiency in financial reporting including budgeting andforecasting. 12. Must be an excellent problem solver andindependent decision maker. 13. High level of integrity anddependability with a strong sense of urgency andresults-orientation. Interested in hearing more?
