Based in the United States (Miami, FL) this company has a global presence.
This role will partner daily with CFO and other key Executive Stakeholders to ensure strategic financial goals are met.

Job Description Define and implement global accounting, control, and tax strategies aligned with business objectives, serving as a strategic partner to the CFO on financial risk, compliance, and technical accounting matters.
Oversee timely, accurate financial reporting and close processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP, local statutory standards, and internal controls, while leading the preparation of financial statements, disclosures, and investor communications.
Develop and maintain a robust global control framework to mitigate financial and operational risks, ensuring alignment with internal policies, regulatory standards, and audit requirements.
Oversee global tax planning, compliance, and reporting, including tax accounting, corporate returns, and adherence to local and international tax regulations.
Drive continuous process improvements in accounting operations through AI and other tools, supporting ERP enhancements to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Chair the internal disclosure committee and deliver timely, relevant updates to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining transparency and supporting strategic decision-making.
Lead, mentor, and develop a globally distributed team of accounting and tax professionals, fostering a collaborative, high-integrity culture with strong succession planning and talent development.
Serve as a key member of the Finance Leadership Team, engaging with senior leaders, auditors, and external authorities to align financial strategy with enterprise goals while maintaining independence in decision-making.

Tenure in public accounting strongly preferred
