Currently, we are representing a prominent client inthe Department of Defense (DoD) industry seeking an experiencedChief Financial Officer (CFO).

Position Overview:

The CFO will play acritical role in shaping the financial strategy of theorganization, ensuring financial integrity, and facilitating growthin alignment with the company’s objectives. The ideal candidatewill have extensive experience in financial management within theDoD industry, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, budgetmanagement, and strategic financial planning.

KeyResponsibilities:

Oversee the financial operations, including budgeting,forecasting, and financial reporting, to support businessinitiatives and strategic goals. Ensure compliance with DCAA and DCMA regulations, managingaudit processes and financial oversight. Develop and implement financial strategies to optimizeresources and drive operational efficiencies. Partner with executive leadership to provide insights onfinancial performance and assist in strategic decision-making. Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk assessment tosupport business sustainability and growth. Lead financial due diligence for potential mergers,acquisitions, and partnerships within the defense sector. Cultivate a high-performance culture by mentoring anddeveloping the finance team.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;MBA or CPA highly preferred. Minimum of 8 years of financial leadership experience, with atleast 5 years in a CFO role or equivalent experience in the DoDindustry. Strong knowledge of

DCAA/DCMA

requirements and compliancepractices. Proven experience in strategic financial planning and analysisin a government contracting environment. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-makingskills. Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development andperformance management. Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engagingwith stakeholders at all levels.
