Accounting and Control:

Has primary responsibility foraccounting (including the allowance for loan losses), financialreporting, forecasting, budgeting and related policies of thecompany including establishment and maintenance of accounting,fiscal controls and the preparation and interpretation of financialreports, both internal and external. This includes responsibilityfor business line and product profitability analysis.

Management Reporting:

Has primary responsibility for theregular and ad-hoc financial reporting as required by theShareholders, Board of Directors, the CEO and other executiveleaders within the Bank. This includes, but is not limited to,production reporting, financial analysis at the product and costcenter level, and expense control.

Treasury and Asset/Liabilities:

Assisted by the Bank’s TreasuryManager, the CFO has primary responsibility for planning,coordination and effective application of the Bank’s capital andasset/liability structure. Evaluates the asset/liability structure.

Evaluates the asset/liability position and strategies in order tomaximize the company’s interest margin and overall profitabilitywhile managing the Bank’s interest rate risk position for safe andsound manner. This includes, but is not limited to: Review of loan portfolio for pricing and maturitydistribution Review of the investment portfolio to ensure adequatepre-purchase analysis is performed on all investment securities andthat investments are performing as expected Deposit pricing and maturity stratification That adequate liquidity is maintained via lines of credit orliquid investments Oversees the preparation of all regulatory filings includingquarterly Call Reports, tax filings, as well as other reports thatmay be requested by various regulatory agencies.

Strategic Planning:

Working at the direction of the CEO, theCFO coordinates the preparation of the Bank’s Business Plan andparticipates in the development and implementation of both thelong-and short-range financial plans and the determination of theappropriate allocation of resources to ensure maximum profitscommensurate with the best interests of shareholders, customers andemployees. He/she is knowledgeable about the function of thevarious business line units and provides quality financial input tothe CEO and Executive Management team, contributing to theiroverall business planning strategy.

Capital Planning:

In coordination with the Bank’s ExecutiveManagement Team, the CFO prepares the annual capital plan. Participates in the evaluation of buy-side merger andacquisition candidates (“M&A”) and coordinates the preparationof M&A financial projections. Manages the application of funds transfer pricing to assets andliabilities and risk-adjusted return on capital calculations inconnection with the evaluation of commercial loanopportunities. Voting member of the Bank’s Officer Credit and 401K SavingsCommittees.

Supervision of PersonnelWorking Conditions Typical office environment. Minimal physical effort required,normally seated with freedom of movement on a regular basis.

Travel Travel may be required with this position.

QualificationsSummaryEducation Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required CPA preferred Advanced education beyond a 4-year college degree, ideally in afinancial or business discipline, such as Master’s degree or MBAstrongly preferredExperience Minimum experience of 15 years’ progressive senior bankmanagement experience, with at least 10 years as Chief FinancialOfficer, Treasurer, Controller or Chief Financial Executive, with acompany which has demonstrated solid financial results in variouseconomic/market environments Project Leadership experience
