We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ChiefFinancial Officer to join our dynamic and rapidly growing techcompany. As a key member of our executive team, the CFO will play apivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, ensuring financialhealth, and driving sustainable growth. Reporting to the CEO, theideal CFO candidate will have a strong background in finance,particularly in early-stage tech companies, and a proven trackrecord in managing public companies. We’re looking for a balance ofgrowth mindset and financial controls. The CFO role is responsiblefor the financial health of all of our current and emerging brandsincluding PublicSquare, EveryLife, Credova, and PublicSquarePayments.

Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implementcomprehensive financial strategies that align with the company’slong-term vision and short-term goals. This includes budgeting,forecasting, and financial modeling.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

Oversee the preparation ofaccurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with allregulatory requirements. Maintain robust internal control systemsto safeguard company assets.

Capital Management:

Manage the company’s capital structure,including fundraising activities, debt management, treasury andinvestment strategy, and any M&A activity. Work closely withinvestment bankers and financial advisors to explore financingoptions.

Financial Analysis and Metrics:

Establish and monitor keyperformance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial health andoperational efficiency. Provide regular financial insights to theexecutive team and board of directors.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate financial risks,ensuring the company’s financial stability and resilience. Developand implement risk management policies and procedures.

Investor Relations:

Build and maintain relationships withinvestors, including institutional investors, analysts, and thefinancial community. Communicate the company’s financialperformance and strategic direction effectively.

Corporate Governance:

Collaborate with the board of directorsto establish policies and ensure compliance with corporategovernance best practices.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor the finance and accountingteams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, andcontinuous improvement.

Qualifications:
Education and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance,Accounting, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification ispreferred.

Experience:

At least 10 years of experience in finance, with aminimum of 5 years in a CFO role, preferably in an early-stage techcompany. Experience in publicly traded companies is essential.

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in financial modeling,budgeting, and forecasting. Strong Excel skills are required.

Leadership and Communication:

Excellent leadership,communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to workeffectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiplepriorities.

Strategic Thinking:

Proven ability to think strategically andmake data-driven decisions. Experience in scaling financialoperations and building high-performing finance teams.

Regulatory Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of financialregulations and compliance requirements, particularly in the techindustry. SEC filing experience including 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-Kfiling experience.
