Client Controller Solutions Group Accounting Firm Heathrow, FL 32746 Overview We are seeking a Client Controller to serve as a strategic advisor and relationship manager for our growing firm. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional with expertise in tax, GAAP accounting, audit, or controller functions—someone ready to transition from technical work to high-level client engagement. As the Client Controller , you will oversee financial strategy and planning for clients, ensuring compliance and offering advisory services tailored to their business needs. You’ll foster strong partnerships with clients, guiding them through complex financial decisions and maintaining long-term relationships built on trust and expertise.

Responsibilities Client Advisory & Relationship Management :

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert financial guidance and ensuring long-term partnerships.

Strategic Financial Oversight :

Offer high-level accounting expertise in tax, GAAP, audit, and controller functions, helping businesses navigate financial complexities.

Compliance & Risk Management :

Ensure clients adhere to financial regulations and best practices, proactively addressing potential risks.

Collaborative Problem-Solving :

Work closely with client leadership teams across industries—including construction, medical, and high-net-worth individuals—to develop strategic financial solutions.

Financial Reporting & Analysis :

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, delivering actionable insights to support client success.

Referral & Partnership Development :

Strengthen connections with attorneys, financial advisors, CFOs, and business consultants to expand client networks and opportunities.

Industry Engagement :

Represent the firm at professional events, solidifying its reputation as a trusted provider of financial solutions. Skills & Qualifications 7-10 years of experience in accounting, tax, audit, or controller roles Strong executive presence with excellent communication and advisory skills Ability to handle complex financial challenges with confidence and strategic thinking Background in tax, GAAP accounting, audit, or controller responsibilities Proven track record of client-facing experience or financial consulting Desire to transition from traditional accounting work to client management and financial strategy Experience with financial software and industry tools such as Salesforce, QuickBooks, or ERP systems (preferred) Join our team as a Client Controller where your expertise will contribute significantly to our financial integrity and overall success.
