Job DetailsResponsibilities:

Oversee all operations of the accountingdepartment, including the design of an organizational structureadequate for achieving the department’s goals and objectives.

Supervise and manage all general ledger activity, financialreporting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financialforecasts, and report variances. Prepare and publish timely monthlyfinancial statements. Coordinate the preparation of regulatoryreporting. Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

Support month-end and year-end close process. Ensure qualitycontrol over financial transactions and financial reporting.

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies tomaintain and strengthen internal controls. Liaise with our CFO andexecutive team on all matters concerning financial management,budgeting, and internal controls.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5years of proven experience in a similar role within the Banking orFinancial Services industry. Certified Management Accountant (CPA)designation is required. Masters in Accounting or related field.

Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles,practices, standards, laws, and regulations. High attention todetail and accuracy. Ability to direct and supervise. Strongorganizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projectssimultaneously. Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills. Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and various accounting software.
