JOB SUMMARY A
fast-scaling, mission-driven company focused on making eco-friendly transportation more accessible is seeking a strategic and operational CFO to join its leadership team. With revenue growing from $20M in its first year and aggressive expansion plans, this business is leading the charge in sustainable automotive solutions through direct sales, services, and franchising.
Location:
Tewksbury, MA (5 days on-site with potential hybrid flexibility after ramp-up)
Compensation:
$200,000 – $240,000 base salary The Opportunity We’re looking for a hands-on CFO with startup grit and industry-specific expertise to drive capital strategy, financial structure, and growth initiatives. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a critical executive role at a pivotal time in the company’s trajectory—with a Series A funding round on the horizon and multiple new locations launching. Key Responsibilities Lead capital-raising efforts including Series A and other funding initiatives Build scalable financial systems, controls, and reporting infrastructure Develop financial strategies that support rapid expansion and franchise rollout Oversee cash flow, forecasting, budgeting, and fund management Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team on financial and operational decisions Implement benefits, stock options, and long-term compensation plans Ensure compliance and risk management aligned with automotive and franchising sectors What We’re Looking For 10+ years of financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years as CFO or equivalent Background in automotive, transportation, franchising, floorplan financing, or investment funds Successful track record of capital fundraising and investor relations (preferably in early-stage environments) Familiarity with tools such as QuickBooks and DealerTrack (Reynolds & Reynolds also acceptable) Strong regulatory knowledge and operational finance acumen Startup mindset with a passion for sustainability and equity For more information and immediate consideration, email a copy of your resume to Ryan Bredin at . •MONKBW• KBW789 #LI-RB1
