Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team on a contract basis in Concord, North Carolina. In this role, you will provide strategic financial guidance and collaborate closely with the current controller to oversee financial reporting and organizational structuring. This position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a company specializing in multi-family home construction and renovation with over $35 million in diversified projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert financial advice to improve organizational structuring and financial reporting processes.
- Collaborate with the controller to analyze and enhance financial statements and reports.
- Oversee the preparation of annual financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement strategic financial plans to support long-term business goals.
- Conduct thorough cash flow analysis to optimize liquidity and capital management.
- Evaluate and refine budget processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor construction and project accounting to maintain alignment with company objectives.
- Prepare and present external financial reports to stakeholders and investors.
- Assess and improve cost management strategies for ongoing construction projects.
- Deliver financial projections and recommendations to support business growth. Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in financial leadership roles, including CFO-level responsibilities.
- Proven expertise in construction and real estate project accounting.
- Strong proficiency in analyzing financial statements and preparing consolidated financial reports.
- Solid knowledge of cash flow management, capital planning, and budgeting processes.
- Experience with accounting software systems and tools.
- Familiarity with corporate financial planning and external financial reporting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage auditing processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional skills in financial projections and strategic planning.
