Planning, developing, organizing, implementing, directing, andevaluating the organization’s fiscal function and performance. Participating in the development of the organization’s plansand programs as a strategic partner. Evaluating and advising on the impact of long-range planning,introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatoryactions. Developing credibility for the finance group by providingtimely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, andfinancial trends in order to assist the CEO/President, the Board,and other senior executives in performing theirresponsibilities. Enhancing and/or developing, implementing, and enforcingpolicies and procedures of the organization by way of systems thatwill improve the overall operation and organization’seffectiveness. Providing technical financial advice and knowledge to otherswithin the financial discipline. Improving the budgeting process through education of managerson financial issues impacting their budgets. Providing strategic financial input and leadership ondecision-making issues affecting the organization (e.g., evaluationof potential alliances, acquisitions, and/or mergers). Optimizing the handling of bank and deposit relationships andinitiating appropriate strategies to enhance cash position. Developing a reliable cash flow projection process andreporting mechanism, which includes a minimum cash threshold tomeet operating needs. Advising from the financial perspective on any contracts intowhich the Company may enter. Evaluating the departmental structure and team plan forcontinual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of thegroup as well as providing individuals with professional andpersonal growth with emphasis on individual opportunities wherepossible.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field (Master’s Degreepreferred) 10+ years of progressive related experience and/or training oran equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with SYSPRO software preferred Ability to work effectively in a part-time, flexible capacitywhile delivering high-impact results.
