Job Description The Technology Business Line Chief Financial Officer (BL CFO) will be a key partner with the Head of Technology in setting the strategy and related financial strategy’s performance metrics. As a report to the CFO – Technology & Operations of U.S. Bank, this role will also be a key leader for the finance organization, the Technology BL CFO will work with the Technology business line to ensure that financial performance against the strategy metrics and other financial goals are achieved. The position will also be accountable for corporate finance activities in multiple business units within the business line that will flow directly into the financial performance of the business. The selected leader will own the strategic finance direction for the technology business line to ensure it achieves its strategic objectives and changing course when necessary. The leader will be accountable to deliver financial outcomes with transparency into enterprise performance and objectives. They will act as a strategic advisor and primary contact to the Head of Technology providing decision support aligned with business specific strategic objectives. This role is responsible for providing clear decision support including strategic and financial forecasting, performance, and alignment to corporate and business line objectives.
JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Long and sort-term strategic financial planning, performance analytics and forecasting Aligning to corporate financial and strategic goals Capital investment and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) Ensure ongoing alignment of business line financials to multi-year strategic plan Provide direction, strategic decisions, and leadership to pursue objectives Act as a single finance point of contact for the Head of Technology with clear decision rights and forecast/projection accountability Decision making support on business specific strategic objectives such as performance analytics, capital investments, planning and forecasting Sustain and improve expense management and profitability while plotting the direction of long-term growth via management of business line expenses and investment, in alignment with business line strategy and corporate financial goals Lead the development of Total Cost of Ownership for Technology Applications to include unit costing of infrastructure products Lead the development and reporting of resource management optimization metrics including developer productivity, contractor utilization and location analysis Align with other CFOs to standardized strategic planning metrics and performance analytics Actively ensure compliance with all U. S. Bank policies and procedures such as Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, all financial policies, and processes such as SOX Lead the team that is aligned to business line strategic planning, forecasting, performance analytics, capital investment and M&A Engage with shared services finance for transactional activities Commit to development of talent within the Finance team and the rest of the organization Engage with shared services finance for transactional activities

Pay Range:
$214,795.00 – $252,700.00 – $277,970.00 U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
