Job Description

The Role Wells Fargo is seeking a Finance Executive who will be the Chief Financial Officer for the Head of Global Operations. As the CFO for Global Operations, you will: Provide strategic finance leadership to the Head of Global Operations. Develop a vision and set direction on all aspects of financial advisory Establish strategic financial plans and objectives Provide leadership to develop guidelines for compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with others to implement key risk initiatives Plan and execute companywide initiatives to support overall Wells Fargo goals Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers Lead team to achieve objectives Ensure proper preparation of financials for business unit operating reviews and reports; financial support for business cases; support as needed by WF management for investor presentations and earnings releases; and ad-hoc financial analyses. Lead complex multi-year projects, strategies, goals, and business ventures as applicable Maintain and improve effective financial controls and risk culture that identifies existing and emerging risk exposures Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet long-term functional and business objectives and strategy As a leader , you will lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your employees feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them. You will have accountability for management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented employees, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing, and developing employees, identifying, and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks. You will coordinate resources across other areas of Enterprise Finance to share knowledge, develop wider career pathing, and ensure high integrity and credibility in all resources.

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of Finance experience or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 4+ years of Management experience

Desired Qualifications:

Financial Services/GSIB experience CFO experience supporting a line of business or an Enterprise Function Broad based knowledge of Operations Presentations to C-Suite level executives Organizational courage and willingness to make tough, informed decisions and thoughtfully share independent perspectives. Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, coupled with an ability to translate ambiguous ideas/issues into well-defined plans/solutions with a track record for delivering results. Effective communicator, both orally and in writing; able to ask well-crafted questions and present ideas in a clear and compelling manner; good listener who engenders creative thinking and teamwork. An ability to develop and articulate sound proposals to key stakeholders, and an ability to influence and drive timely decision making. Proven ability to cultivate relationships and collaborate with multiple stakeholders Proven experience establishing a large-scale vision, developing the strategy to support the vision, gaining consensus across key functional leadership areas through effective communication, and successful delivery against goals and objectives. Experience driving large-scale organizational change. Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, ensuring proper staffing and expertise; manage the establishment of major policies and relevant compliance programs across major business divisions within a large and complex organization.
