Job Description
MetroTech Automotive is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to direct and oversee all financial activities of the corporation. MetroTech Automotive is a firmly established company of 38 years based in Charlotte, NC. We are a manufacturer of car care products and a well renowned automotive partner of car dealerships nationwide. Responsibilities & Duties (included but not limited to): Direct the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, and tax returns Compare sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; make or oversee any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets Review planning process and suggest improvements to current methods Analyze operations to identify areas for maximum production Work directly with company President to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process Identify opportunities for expansion into new product areas Maximize return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities and maintaining relationships with the investment community Manage the relationships of our Legal, I/T and Insurance partnerships Hire, train, and retain skilled accounting and finance staff Update job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance preferred 10+ years’ experience in financial management capacity Automotive industry or insurance experience preferred Strong team player, results orientated, and sense of urgency to achieve business objectives Excellent written and verbal communication skills Organizational and time management skills Ability to build relationships
