Wednesday, 25 June 2025 Chief Financial Officer (PE backed infrastructure services) Chief Financial Officer (PE backed infrastructure services) Our client is a private equity owned, middle market specialty contractor and services provider. The Company recently partnered with a leading private equity firm to accelerate its growth. This investment will provide them the ability to accelerate growth as it expands operations and services. The Company will focus on increasing its service offerings, modernizing and scaling internal infrastructure, and building upon its superior team of dedicated professionals. The Company is entering an extraordinary period of growth and is seeking an experienced CFO with a demonstrated track record of scaling businesses while adhering to core principles that serve to set the business apart from competitors. The CFO will be joining a $250M+ revenue company that is rapidly expanding. The successful candidate will have a passion for systems buildout, financial modeling/reporting, KPI development, managing a budget process, and possessing a strong sense of accountability. They will enjoy working at the executive level within the Company as well as with external resources and service providers. Simultaneously, they will be comfortable rolling up their sleeves as appropriate in order to build a thriving Finance function that will drive business results.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 15 years of increasing accounting, finance, and 10+ years of direct management experience in a similar industry and preferably in a private equity backed company.
Experience in a leadership role in the day-to-day financial operations at a small to mid-sized, growth-oriented, organization.
Experience in a construction or closely related environment where percentage of completion accounting was used. Experience with larger size projects (>$10M) is strongly preferred.
A bachelor’s degree is required. CPA and/or MBA a strong plus.
Broader financial acumen required to manage banking relationships, participate in future M&A activities, contribute to setting strategy, etc.
Prior tenure in positions that involved a distributed workforce across multiple office and project locations is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships and influence others at all levels and within multiple operating divisions.
Experience as a public accountant or manager of accounting/controller strongly preferred.
