We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to joinour team of high-performing professionals and keep our financespositioned for continued success. The CFO oversees finances, buttheir role extends beyond that. They may also play a role in humanresources, negotiations, legal matters, information technology, andsometimes real estate. As a member of senior management, the CFOwill be comfortable in a leadership role that requires clear andeffective communication skills. You will collaborate closely withthe President and Executive management team to provide completevisibility into financial data and support decision-making. Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Controller or Chief FinancialOfficer role. Proven experience providing financial leadership in ahigh-growth, multi-state environment. Proven experience with budgeting. Ideally work experience with an Architectural or Engineeringrelated company.
General Job Description / SummaryAssists thePresident and Board of Directors with the organization’s financialleadership, planning and accounting practices as well as itsrelationship with lending institutions, shareholders, and thefinancial community by performing the following duties personallyor through subordinate managers. Oversees all financial reportingactivities, providing the President, management, and Board ofDirectors with accurate and up-to-date information on the financialactivities.
Preferred skills and qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, orFinance required. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, orFinance preferred. Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
Requiredskills and qualifications Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, andtax planning. Experience with general ledger functions, financial statementpreparation, and year-end close process. Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills anddemonstrated ability to communicate effectively. Strong interpersonal skills. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong senseof urgency and results-orientation.
