Job Description
Description Are you an experienced finance professional with a background in healthcare and a passion for leadership? Robert Half is seeking an Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join an established organization in Bridegwater, NJ, for an onsite contract role. This opportunity is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with a strong command of financial operations, revenue cycle management, and accounting practices, as well as exceptional interpersonal and supervisory skills. As Interim CFO, you will: + Lead the Finance, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), and Accounting departments, supervising a team of ~75 management and staff members. + Guide financial strategies, including revenue cycle management, forecasting, audit, tax-related activities, and operational budgeting. + Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly close processes, as well as prepare and present pertinent financial reports to the CEO, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders. + Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives, providing actionable recommendations and analyses. + Develop and implement financial and accounting policies while ensuring compliance with GAAP and best practices. + Manage relationships with external banking professionals, auditors, and lending institutions to maintain financial stability and growth. + Participate in vendor agreements and employee benefits evaluations to ensure cost efficiency and value. + Prepare financial statements and materials for quarterly Finance Committee presentations while maintaining accuracy across the organization’s financial documentation.
Requirements Education and Certifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance is required. + MBA or CPA (preferred).
Experience Requirements:
+ 5+ years of financial leadership experience in healthcare is required. + Proven experience supervising large management teams across finance, RCM, and accounting functions.
