About the Position The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key executive team member, responsible for safeguarding the Club’s financial health and driving operational excellence. Reporting to the General Manager, the CFO leads financial strategy, ensures transparency, and aligns operations with the Club’s vision. Key Responsibilities Develop budgets, refine internal controls, and present financial reports to stakeholders. Oversee accounting, auditing, tax compliance, and financial reporting. Analyze financial data to enhance profitability and operational efficiency. Supervise financial procedures, including payroll, receivables, and payables. Partner with HR to manage Club benefit plans and organizational goals. Provide strategic insights to drive growth and member satisfaction. About the Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a seasoned financial leader with a strong background in accounting and finance, particularly within hospitality or non-profit sectors. With a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA, CHAE, or CPA preferred) and 7+ years of progressive experience, including 3+ years as a CFO, this individual brings integrity, strategic insight, and a member-focused approach. They excel in financial stewardship, team leadership, and operational efficiency while driving innovation and long-term growth. Experience Highlights 7+ years in accounting, with 3+ years as a CFO. Expertise in hospitality/non-profit financial operations. Strong IT, vendor management, and software skills. Proficient in banking, capital campaigns, and tax regulations. Advanced knowledge of Excel and club financial systems.
