Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Market Assistant CFO to support financial leadership across our market hospitals. This role is responsible for directing finance department operations, managing financial planning and analysis, and ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission, values, and long-term objectives. The Market ACFO works closely with the Market CFO and executive leadership to drive operational excellence and financial performance across facilities.

Key Responsibilities Lead financial operations across assigned market hospitals, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysisPartner with Market CFO and hospital leadership to develop financial strategies that support growth, efficiency, and quality outcomesEnsure compliance with all financial policies, procedures, and regulatory standardsOversee financial reporting and decision-support functions, providing actionable insights to senior managementSupport capital planning, operational improvement initiatives, and cost-saving strategiesMentor and develop finance team members, building a culture of accountability and excellenceCollaborate with internal and external auditors, ensuring readiness and accuracy during financial reviewsRequired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum five (5) years of financial leadership experience in a for-profit hospital or healthcare system, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory capacityProven ability to analyze complex financial data and guide strategic decisionsStrong communication and leadership skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with minimal supervisionPreferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA/MHA)CPA certification (Certified Public Accountant)Benefits Comprehensive health benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)401(k) retirement plan with employer matchCompetitive Paid Time Off (PTO) package for leadership rolesEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental, physical, and financial wellnessProfessional development opportunities and support for advanced educationAdditional perks and incentives based on experience and role level
