We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of our privately held company. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will be responsible for financial planning, risk management, reporting, and supporting the company’s long-term growth objectives. This role requires a hands-on leader who can provide financial insight, drive operational efficiency, and ensure the company’s financial health while aligning with the vision of ownership. CFO /
Chief Financial Officer Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s business objectives and ownership goals. Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls. Provide timely and accurate financial analysis and recommendations to the CEO and ownership. Manage banking relationships, financing arrangements, and capital structure. Lead financial due diligence and integration for acquisitions or strategic investments. Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and operational improvements. Build and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team. Support long-term business continuity strategies. Negotiate with insurance carriers and benefits providers to secure favorable terms. Assess and manage corporate insurance policies (e.g., general liability, property, D&O, cyber liability). CFO /
Chief Financial Officer Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Licensed CPA. 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in a privately held or entrepreneurial environment. Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning. Proven ability to work closely with ownership and executive leadership. High integrity, sound judgment, and a collaborative leadership style. Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP, Excel, BI platforms). Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
