Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Confidential Franklin, TN 37067
Position Summary:
The Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy of the Company. This executive position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for leading the FP&A team in providing strategic financial insights, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis to support executive decision-making and enhance organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Lead the FP&A function, providing strategic direction and oversight to the executive team and Partner Groups. Partner with executive leadership and cross functional departments to develop and implement financial strategies and drive business insights that align with the company’s goals. Trusted business partner for Doctors and their teams.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
Oversee the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and accurate forecasting. Oversee and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis. Work with the Accounting Department to support month-end close process.
Performance Analysis:
Analyze financial performance and operational metrics; identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present financial recurring and ad-hoc financial reports and insights to the executive team, Doctors, and Board of Directors.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive business decisions. Act as a regional CFO to Partner Groups, ensuring financial considerations are integrated into business strategies.
Team Development:
Mentor and develop the FP&A team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, servant leadership. Ensure the team has the tools and resources needed to perform at a high level.
Compliance and Governance:
Ensure adherence to financial policies, regulations, and accounting standards. Establish and maintain processes for effective financial governance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred 10+ years of experience in finance, with a strong background in FP&A, preferably in healthcare Self-driven with growth mindset Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data Strong attention to detail Must have excellent time management skills and be able to prioritize and delegate tasks as needed Excellent communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint), with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis tools, including Power BI •Along with base salary, this role comes with a high competitive incentive bonus•
