PRIMARY PURPOSE
This role requires positive energy, innovation, and a genuine passion for helping others. As a Virtual Adjuster, you’ll assist with handling property losses quickly and efficiently, solely at the desk, focusing on customer expectations (both internal and external) along the way. You will analyze loss details and assist the Virtual Claims Examiner with the claims process. We’re looking for inspired and driven individuals.
ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS and
RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing outstanding customer experience. Processes complex commercial and personal line property claims and ensures claim files are properly documented and coded correctly. Examines insurance policies and other records to determine handling direction. Coordinates vendor management, including the use of independent adjusters to assist the investigation of claims. Revises case reserves in assigned claims files to cover probable costs. Communicates claim action/processing with insured, client, and agent or broker when appropriate. Reports large claims to excess carrier(s). Develops and maintains action plans to ensure state required contact deadlines are met and to move the file towards prompt and appropriate resolution. Identifies and pursues subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing Must have an active Property Adjuster License; Multi state licenses preferred Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Experience Claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include knowledge of construction basics, experience and knowledge of personal and commercial lines property policies, coverages, principles, and laws. General construction knowledge and material identification is a plus Contents and ALE handling is a plus Multi-Peril handling is a plus Skills & Knowledge Strong customer connection/service skills Strong oral and written communication, including presentation skills PC literate, including Microsoft Office products Demonstrated commitment to timely reporting Strong interpersonal skills Attention to detail and accuracy Good time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently or in a team environment Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies Travels as required. Knowledge of personal and commercial line property policies, coverages, principles, and laws Knowledge of construction basics
