Responsibilities Oversee the work of Claims Operations, administrative, technical support and customer service teams; responsible for performing a variety of administrative and operational duties, as well as supporting and delivering compliance with operations Best Practices, internal controls and/or complex administrative procedures. Key Functions will include but not be limited to : Implement and monitor administrative and operational policies, procedures and Best Practices Utilize management tools to assess, evaluate and improve existing workflows, processes, procedures, systems and data quality to enhance outcomes, efficiencies, quality and productivity Coordinate, manage and champion changes in requirements, strategy and culture in all areas of responsibility Build rapport and maintain effective relationships with all business partners to improve internal and external customer satisfaction and to achieve business objectives Supervise allocated resources to ensure effective utilization, which meets the needs of the claims department and customers Implement and support talent management practices to improve performance by participating in goal setting, measuring and monitoring performance and mentoring, developing and training Claims support staff Suggest and implement process improvement ideas to improve efficiency of Claims/Operations – compare alternatives for solving problems or improving procedures and provide recommendations Utilize network of contacts with specialized expertise when necessary Ensure that appropriate documentation, implementation and communication of established policy, procedures and operating standards is completed for area of responsibility Monitor and evaluate activities to identify potential risks and issues of non-compliance Maintain strict confidentiality of all aspects of position Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree preferred 3+ years claims related experience 1+ years management experience preferred Additional Company Details We do not accept any unsolicited resumes from external recruiting agencies or firms.
