Description The Senior Claims Adjuster, Property is responsible for independently reviewing, investigating, evaluating and resolving Commercial Property and Casualty, Lender Placed, and other Specialty products while maintaining effective contact with agents, insureds, and company personnel. Ensuring high quality service standards while meeting or exceeding departmental performance goals is imperative. The Senior Claims Adjuster, Property maintains appropriate reserves, identifies trends and effectively communicates covered and non-covered items, as well as accurately reviews all available coverages.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional education or experience required.
5 plus years experience handling commercial property claims.
Adjuster Licensing required.

Primary Job Functions:

Obtain and maintain all applicable state licenses as required.
Provide coverage, liability and damages analysis for claims.
Ability to proactively identify exposures and claim trends which may affect the portfolio and provide written assessments to the Specialty business unit.
Resolve problems and respond to coverage questions for underwriting team and senior management.
Effectively pursue Fortegra’s Subrogation interest.
