What you will do in this position: Conduct thorough investigations to establish liability for the insurance claim Gather evidence, statements, and documentation to support subrogation efforts Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including claims adjusters, underwriters, and legal teams, to gather information and build a comprehensive subrogation case. Communicate effectively with external parties, such as attorneys, third-party administrators, and other insurance companies, to negotiate settlements. Negotiate with responsible parties to reach fair and equitable settlements Drive for maximum claim recovery by employing strong negotiation tactics Maintain accurate and detailed records of all subrogation activities, including correspondence, settlements, and payments. Manage an inventory of litigated claims in accordance with Slide’s practices, guidelines, and industry standards. Contribute to Slide’s production goals and objectives, playing a key role in its success. Stay informed on statutory requirements and legal developments related to subrogation, litigation, and residential property / liability claims. Ensure all subrogation activities comply with legal requirements and ethical standards Perform other duties, as assigned What you bring to the position: Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of a high school diploma and relevant work experience. Active Florida 6-20 Resident All Lines Adjuster License 3+ years of experience working directly for an insurance carrier. 2+ years of experience working in a subrogation or liability role. 1-2 years of litigation handling experience is preferred but not required. Xactimate experience is preferred Qualifications/Skills and Competencies needed to be successful Thorough understanding of Florida insurance laws and Florida good faith claims Proven negotiation skills. Proven ability to be adaptable and flexible; adjusting to new requirements or unforeseen Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively to ensure projects are completed on schedule. Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of professionally interacting with team members across departments. Proficient in MSO/365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Desire to live Slide’s Core Values.
