Join our team in supporting hospitals and providers in securing proper reimbursement for Managed Care, Commercial, and Medicare claims.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and analyze unpaid claims utilizing proprietary and client systems Resolve denials by communicating with payors (and patients) to identify the root cause of denials, carve-outs, or underpayments Knowledge of coordination of benefits (COB) policies and procedures Ability to review explanation of benefits (EOBs) and medical billing data for coding or payment discrepancies Ensure a collaborative relationship with the firm’s attorneys in the event the claims dispute requires escalation
What You Bring:
Medical claims or hospital billing experience in either a provider or payor setting The skill to concisely and persuasively communicate with Commercial and Government payors is essential to success in this position. Familiarity with the internal appeals process and payor dispute resolution procedures Excellent phone communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
