Reinsurance and Compliance Specialist Job Description This position is ideal for someone looking to manage reinsurance, sales, accounting, and legal administrative duties. You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a growing company, providing professional growth and development. Responsibilities Ensure compliance adherence as needed. Manage reinsurance, sales, accounting, and legal administrative duties, including maintaining records and processing new business. Handle accounting activities such as calculations, preparation of billing statements, premium accounting, collections, and cash flow. Review and update contracts related to reinsurance. Underwrite FAC and Treaty contracts from a General Conditions and Legal Perspective. Perform account reconciliations as needed. Oversee key MGA accounts. Review company records to ensure correct issuance and intent of products. Deliver professional customer service through phone calls, emails, client visits, and oral presentations. Manage data and verify information using the REOS System. Prepare and reconcile claims bordereaux. Essential Skills Reinsurance expertise Knowledge of KYC and compliance Claims processing Reconciliation Billing and accounting Insurance Collections and cash flow management Property and casualty knowledge Legal administrative skills Sales General ledger proficiency Financial and audit knowledge Finance skills Month-end procedures Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in Property & Casualty claims adjudication and reporting Ability to receive and log all claim notifications Skill in managing claims for status and completion Proficiency in maintaining claim logs and reporting Capability to maintain communication and claims reporting with underwriting agencies Experience with inputting paid and notified claims into the REOS system Ability to manage cash flow for all reinsurers Work Environment The role requires working in the office for five days a week.
