• AdventHealth Orlando + Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando + Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America + AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country + We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year •The role you’ll contribute:•The Claims Management Discovery Coordinator (CMDC) participates in identifying and reducing risks to AdventHealth Orlando, its physicians, staff, and visitors.

The CMDC ensures specific claim discovery needs are handled in an efficient and timely manner, and in compliance with established protocols. The CMDC works collaboratively with AdventHealth Corporate and our hospital attorneys to protect the financial assets of AdventHealth. The CMDC actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

• + Demonstrates, through behavior, AdventHealth Orlando’s service standards.

+ Manages claims filing system including document filing, opening new files, documenting in the claims log and managing claims supplies. + Schedule hospital conference rooms as needed for attorney meetings and depositions. + Responsible for the organization and management of subpoenas and depositions, including assistance and support to employees. Qualifications

• The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
• + AA degree in appropriate area of specialization.

+ 2 Related Experience + Understanding of medical technology and terminology. + Understanding of the claims/litigation prevention and management process. + Knowledge of Cerner and RiskMaster.
