The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service abilities and a thorough understanding of vehicle mechanics. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Confirm claim coverage by reviewing contract details, recalls, claims history, cause and extent of failure, service records, and other warranties. Authorize appropriate repairs for covered claims in accordance with contract terms and conditions. Precisely calculate repair costs in cooperation with repair facilities. Apply contract terms, conditions, and coverage to all claims. Negotiate labor and parts costs as needed. Approve or reject repairs, towing, and rental services based on contract language. Document each claim clearly and consistently. Monitor call queues and manage time efficiently to ensure availability for customers. Promptly address customer issues, concerns, and complaints. Use flat-rate online manuals to verify parts and labor.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of mechanical systems, including repairs, parts, and labor Ability to diagnose mechanical issues based on the complaint, cause, and correction provided Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in typing, computer systems, and software applications Detail-oriented and organized Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility and adaptability to changing work environments and customer needs ASE or Manufacturer certification is a plus, but not required

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to type and look at a computer screen for long periods Able to work during the hours of 9am to 6pm M-F
