Maximize value on high-dollar claims, mentor junior claim specialists, and ensure consistency and excellence in damage reports and supplement packages.

“We nail it every shingle time.” Strategic Outcomes & Critical Drivers 1. Obtain agreed price for 95% Files (on High-Value Claims Over $75K) Within 30 Days of Roof Completion Date.
Critical Drivers:
Personally manage and negotiate all claims with potential RCV over $75K Execute Damage Report & deliver to all stakeholders within 48 hours of receipt of new claim. Escalate and collaborate with legal, appraisers, or PA as needed. Maintain CRM notes and supporting documents immediately with all correspondence with the Insurer. Request needed bid items from Production within 24 hours of receipt of first insurance estimate. 2. Deliver an agreed scope of work with insurer within 30 days of receipt of first insurance estimate.
Critical Drivers:
Consult with PM and Production on high value scope items that are missing within 48 hours of release of first insurance estimate to determine focus areas. Submit an email to adjuster or insurer with customer cc-ed detailing unapproved trades on damage report insisting on coverage. Request next steps to get trade approved by insurance whether that is re-inspection, supporting documentation, or professional reports IE engineer or subcontractor. 3. Produce Internal Training That Elevates 100% of Claim Specialists to 85%+ Approval Rate on First Supplement Submission.
Critical Drivers:
Conduct 4-trainings sessions per month on Xactimate Estimate, scope creation, and supplement strategy. Maintain a master supplement library with updated language, codes, social proof and manufacturer installation docs to support negotiation arguments. Perform quality control of damage reports, daily for new Claims Specialist’s Damage Reports, notating feedback to hold in weekly trainings. Also, bi-weekly quality control of each seasoned Claim Specialist’s reports, providing direct coaching and feedback. Lead quarterly skills assessments and remediation plans for underperformers. Handle all escalated negotiations where claim negotiations have stalled. 3.

Business Day of Submission Critical Drivers:
Use a standardized QA checklist to evaluate accuracy, code compliance, and completeness. Perform quality control of damage reports, daily for new Claims Specialist’s Damage Reports, notating feedback to hold in weekly training. Also, bi-weekly quality control of each seasoned Claim Specialist’s reports, providing direct coaching and feedback. Provide redline feedback and support rework if a report does not meet approval standards. Track and log common errors for training content development. Communicate rejection with clear reasoning and a path to correction. 4. Increase Average Supplement Per Claim by 30%
M/Q/Y Critical Drivers:
Lead negotiation of the most complex supplements with desk adjusters, engineers, and claim managers Document and share 1 high-impact supplement success case weekly Ensure the top 10 profitable supplement line items are included on all applicable claims. Ensure every file includes annotated photos, inspection notes, code documentation, and proof of damage. Conduct quarterly file audits with the Director of Claims. Certify supplement packages before submission using the standard compliance checklist. Collaborate with production to document “before and after” evidence of completion.
