The claims adjuster must be able to assess damages and communicate with policyholders, independent appraisers, tow yards and body shops to successfully settle claims. Other duties involve determining fault and gathering evidence to pursue third parties for reimbursement. Candidates must be computer literate, and self-motivated with good organizational and critical thinking skills. This is a full-time position requiring no travel. Candidate must be able to work physically in our Metairie office Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 5:30. Benefits include 401K, Health Insurance and paid time off. Prior claims or other auto related experience preferred. Salary compensation depends upon level of experience.
