Pay:

$18.00/hour

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No rotating shifts)

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a key member of the revenue cycle team, you’ll help resolve insurance and billing challenges, ensuring claims are processed and paid efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

Reviewing and interpreting insurance policies, medical records, and billing documentation
Handling denial appeals, payment discrepancies, balance billing, and claims processing
Communicating with patients, insurance carriers, and internal departments to resolve outstanding issues
Managing clerical duties such as handling phone calls, emails, faxes, and maintaining records
Escalating issues and updates to the Revenue Cycle Manager or Supervisor
Assisting with special projects or other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent
3-5 years in DME or general medical billing preferred
Minimum 1 year in insurance verification or authorization required
Familiarity with

CPT/ICD-10

codes, HCFA 1500, UB04 forms
Medicare/Medicaid billing guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and medical terminology
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Strong verbal and written communication
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
