Reports to the Insurance Services Team Leader and collaborates closely with supervisors on projects to improve revenue cycle performance. Responsible for analyzing accounts receivable, identifying revenue-impacting trends, and leading staff training initiatives. Supports the CIS mission by ensuring efficient, accurate billing operations and continuous staff development. How You’ll Drive Our Mission Forward Serve as a training and problem-solving resource for both billing staff and front office team leaders. Analyze weekly and monthly A/R and financial reports to identify trends impacting revenue and operational efficiency. Audit billing procedures and recommend improvements to streamline collections and reduce errors. Identify and address issues affecting charges, coding, collections, and accounts receivable . Develop and deliver training presentations and educational sessions for new and existing staff on billing policies, systems, and best practices. Stay informed on coding (CPT, ICD, CCI), insurance updates, and managed care changes to ensure compliance and accuracy. Coordinate and conduct software training , including orientation for new staff. Assist supervisors with special projects designed to enhance revenue performance and process effectiveness. Travel to clinic sites as needed to support on-site education and training initiatives. Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall mission and goals of CIS. What Makes You a Great Match High school diploma required. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in medical billing, collections, and claims . At least 2+ years of continuous staff development or training experience . Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong time management and multitasking abilities . High level of attention to detail and accuracy. A self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Excellent computer proficiency and adaptability to new software systems. Strong customer service orientation and ability to communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
