Progress. As an autodamage claims adjuster, you’ll serve as Progressive’s point ofcontact with customers

• directing and making decisions regardingthe repair process from beginning to end.

Managing your owninventory while working independently, you’ll work closely withbody shops and others to negotiate repair pricing and assessliability. Ideal candidates will possess leadership and conflictmanagement skills, along with strong attention to detail and apassion for providing excellent customer service. This is a fieldposition with access to a company car and frequent driving withinyour assigned geographical area. We assess our workloadcollectively, which means you may cover assignments outside yourgeographical area. You may also be required to report into anoffice occasionally. Duties and responsibilities

• Complete vehicleinspections, write estimates, determine total loss evaluations, andset clear expectations and timelines
• Negotiate repair processwith body shops
• Document information related to the claim andmake decisions consistent with claims standards and local laws
• Evaluate and handle claim payments and resolution of claims withoutpayments
• Review and determine validity of any supplement requestsMust-have qualifications
• A minimum of four years of relevant workexperience with one year appraisal/estimatics or insuranceexperience
• {OR} Associate’s degree and a minimum of three yearsrelevant work experience with one year appraisal/estimatics orinsurance experience
• {OR} Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of oneyear appraisal/estimatics or insurance experience
• Valid driver’slicense, auto insurance, and compliance with Progressive’s drivingstandards and/or policies

Location:

The candidate will need toreside in the greater Outer Banks area of North Carolina.

Compensation

• $65,000
• 79,400/year
• Gainshare annual cashincentive payment up to 16% of your eligible earnings based oncompany performance Benefits
