Claims Analyst – II INVO Claims Administrators Raleigh, NC • Remote INVO Claims Administrators is seeking a Workers Compensation Claims Analyst to join our fast growing team! This role will be remote and must be well-versed in North Carolina workers’ compensation claims handling, strong litigation background ,and have an active adjuster’s license. Duties may include but are not limited to the following: Reviews and analyzes all workers’ compensation claims documents; oversees all investigations and evaluates all claims with new or omitted medical information for compensability within statutorily required time limits. Reviews all financial information pertaining to each claim. Ensures reserves are set for ultimate probable outcome. Oversees negotiations for settlements within assigned limits; recommends and/or implements settlement offers. Implements claims cost control measures; reviews medical bills, oversees all claim payments. Reviews potential cost recovery from third parties; oversees investigation of suspected claims fraud. Promotes early return to work and light duty options for injured workers; consults with Adjusters to identify medical conditions and physical limitations/restrictions. Coordinates with departments to determine if work duties can be adjusted to accommodate injured workers on a permanent or temporary basis. Monitors light-duty work assignments, maintains required documents pertaining to return to work programs. Calculates employee average weekly wage and compensation rates. Oversees litigated claims and assignments to defense counsel as appropriate; collaborates and reviews litigation strategies with Adjuster and defense counsel to properly defend the case; identifies and evaluates cases for exposure and potential settlement. Provides consultation to supervisors and employees related to the workers’ compensation claim process; counsels supervisors and employees about return to work and light duty options. Develops and maintains relationships with policy holders to raise awareness of light duty programs; provides resources and information regarding the same. Provides pertinent information to policy holders, employees, and supervisors in a variety of forums for easy access. Reviews required workers compensation forms and reports; distributes appropriate forms and correspondence as required. All candidates must have a minimum of (4) years experience in adjusting workers’ compensation claims.

INVO Claims Administrators uses a market-based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your experience.
