TIME-LIMITED

Total Compensation Calculator. This position responds to frequent requests from claimants, care providers, management and the general public about both specific claims and programmatic issues.
Duties include:
Determine the eligibility of compensable expenses.
Provides direct services to adult and child victims of violent crimes.
Establishes and maintains a resource network with health care and human services organizations.
Establishes and maintains a directory of service agencies which provide assistance to victims of violent crimes. Implements a system of data collection and processing. KSAs:
Experience composing documents such as reports and/or correspondence and/or other documents. Experience working with internal and/or external customers. Experience applying policy and/or procedure in handling claims to determine an outcome.
Management Preference:
Experience working with the criminal justice system and/or human services system. Experience working with state and local services available to victims. Experience working independently as well as with a team. High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
