Job Summary:
- Management, analysis, and processing of—and reporting on—insurance and self-insurance programs and claims.
Risk management personnel manage the company’s risk by analyzing and purchasing risk transfer products; assessing, investigating, and settling claims to limit. ultimate liability; monitoring and assisting the work of outside legal counsel and third-party claims administrators; and reporting on loss history and trends to safety and operations departments and executive leadership.

Compensation:
- $60,408
- $68,181 is the starting range (Pay Bi-Weekly) _
- A final amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location. Typically, selected candidates are hired at a rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range._

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- + Review and ensure accuracy/compliance on claim files provided by claim representative team + Adhere to federal and state laws in regard to claim handling and follow best practices as established by the company + Verify investigation quality and review documentation + Communicate with CRST staff about the status of claims and reaching their resolution + Attend regular scheduled meetings with CRST clients + Conduct damage assessments and ensures accuracy in reporting and documentation + Performs coverage determinations by confirming and/or revising decisions per contract guidelines + Approve final review of subrogation and legal claims + May be assigned additional duties as needed, such as a backup during employee leave or unplanned absences •
Requirements:
- + Bachelor’s Degree or an Associate Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience with property damage claims. + Analytical Thinking and Attention to Detail + Good Problem Solving and Decision Making Skills + Excellent Written and Verbal Communication + Management of Financial Resources + Good Time Management + Persuasion, Coordination and Negotiation Ability
