$27.88 – $37.69 hourly Agency/Dept.: Public Safety Description of Duties This position, in the Probation Division of the Department of Public Safety, is responsible for conducting personnel background investigations and investigating complaints against Probation staff. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of the Probation Administrator. Does related work as required. Minimum Qualifications

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

: + Candidate will conduct personnel background investigations on potential new employees and contractors including, but not limited to character reference checks, police and motor vehicle checks; + Candidate will investigate complaints received from the community or clients against Probation staff; + Candidate will provide vehicle coordination for Probation’s fleet vehicles; + Candidate will investigate and facilitate crime victim contact regarding restitution; + Candidate will maintain Mobile Data Terminals (MDTs) and coordinate programming; + Candidate will conduct investigations arising from audits or as otherwise directed by the Probation Administrator; + Candidate will maintain 2-way radio and Global Positioning System (GPS) inventories; Download/View Full Announcement Apply Online
