What you will do Utica National is seeking a dynamic leader who is passionate about leading and developing Workers’ Compensation talent. The leader of this team will provide guidance and oversight for primarily New York lost time claims of moderate complexity. Key responsibilities Supervise and instruct adjusters concerning work performed and train new claim personnel. Plan work and assign to all claims adjusters. Oversee and assume responsibility for work performed by Claims Adjusters. Review quality of work and schedules. Maintain strict follow-up on active claims. Review files, answer technical questions, identify and correct errors and discrepancies. What you need 4 year college degree or equivalent experience. 2-3 years with adjusting work and 1-3 years of supervisory responsibilities preferred. Strong familiarity with New York jurisdictions; knowledge of Illinois a plus. Licensing Required to obtain your license(s) as an adjuster in the state(s) in which you are assigned to adjust claims. Licensing must be obtained within the timeframe set forth by the Company and must be maintained as needed throughout your employment.
Salary range:
$90,000 – $128,000 The final salary to be paid and position within the internal salary range is reflective of the employee’s work experience, their geographic location, education, certification(s), scope and responsibilities in the role, and additional qualifications.
