Progress. As a seniorclaims specialist on our team, you’ll play a critical role in ourability to successfully and efficiently resolve injury claims.
Investigating complex and high-risk claims
- which may be attorneyrepresented or have additional litigation features
- you’ll consultwith police officers, medical professionals, claimants and othersinvolved in the accident.
The information gathered will then beused while determining coverage, liability and the total value ofthe claim. This is a hybrid role. You’ll be expected to report toan office about four days per month for important meetings,training, and collaboration and will have the benefit of continuedcoaching from a supportive team. If you prefer an in-officeenvironment, you’re welcome to work in the office more than fourdays per month. Must-have qualifications
- Five years of relevantwork experience with two years in claims handling OR
- Two years inclaims handling and a bachelor’s degree OR
- Four years of relevantwork experience with two years in claims handling and an associatedegree Preferred skills
- Ability to quickly build rapport andsuccessfully effect settlements
- Strong negotiation and customerservice skills
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skillsalong with ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Demonstratedproficiency analyzing coverage and liability
- Ability to directthe use of discovery tools such as interrogatories, depositions andproduction of document
Location:
Candidates must reside in one ofthe following states: Maryland, Delaware, District of Columbia,Ohio, or West Virginia Compensation
- $65,500
- $87,300/year
