Under limited supervision but within IRF standards, the examiner is responsible for handling medium and complex third-party casualty claims inclusive of coverage determination, investigation and resolution. A significant percentage of claims will be in suit and will require interaction with approved defense counsel, inclusive of attending mediation and trials. The examiner will also handle some party property claims as well.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES A

bachelor’s degree and claims experience in casualty, bodily injury, worker’s compensation or property claims or a high school diploma and acceptable equivalent experience.
