Job Description

Summary Reviews moderately complex/specialty claims and processes refunds, including settlement of monies.

Description Logistics:

This is a full time (40 HPW) position. Our ideal candidate will be required to work on-site at our Columbia, SC location.

What You Will Do:

Research claims history to identify and/or verify moderately complex claims to be adjusted for refunds. Update claims systems to ensure that the refund process will be completed. Adjust claims history to reflect refunded amounts. Complete action requests for priority claims. Respond accurately and timely to inquiries from internal and external customers. Assists with reports that ensure claims are processing and refunds are settled according to guidelines and requirements. Responds to internal quality audits.

To Qualify, We Will Require:
Required Experience:

1 year of related claims experience PLUS 2 years of experience in the recouping and/or refunding of claims.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Strong communication, analytical and organizational and basic math skills.

Required Software and Other Tools:
