Description Logistics:
This is a full time (40 HPW) position, and our ideal candidate will work on-site at our Columbia, SC location.
What You’ll Do:
Perform quality control reviews of staff to ensure appropriate understanding and utilization of applicable laws, contracts, policies, and procedures. Monitor production and timeliness of work. Responsible for handling personnel issues, including hiring, training and motivating. Monitor production and timeliness of work. Enforce performance standards through training and disciplinary measures as needed. Maintain effective public relations with groups, marketing, consultants, providers, members, attorneys, liability carriers, and internal departments by providing accurate and prompt responses to inquiries. Assist with and occasionally perform group and marketing presentations. Assist and advise staff on complex matters concerning policies, procedures, system issues, and legal issues. Prepare monthly and quarterly group, divisional and corporate reports. Monitor system issues. Identify, recommend and implement enhancements as necessary. Participate in steering, joint administration discussions (JAD) and other IS meetings, and conduct system testing as necessary. To Qualify for This Position, You’ll Need the

Bachelor’s Degree Equivalency:
4 years of job-related work experience or Associate’s and 2 years job related work experience
Required Work Experience:
3 years of legal, claims, customer service, or negotiation experience.

Analyzes laws, regulations and contract language. Evaluates issues and develops recommendations. Handles confidential and sensitive information. Investigates assigned claims.
