Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Compliance & Credentialing Director to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive operational compliance program at a temporary correctional facility in South Florida. This role will be central to ensuring that Correctional Officers (COs) and facility staff operate under clearly defined standards, consistent credentialing processes, and regulatory compliance. This is a year-long, on-site W2 contract with housing and meals provided .
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and oversee a full-scope compliance and credentialing framework for correctional staff Ensure adherence to federal, state, and contractual standards related to facility operations and CO conduct Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and credential tracking systems Coordinate with HR, training, and operations to verify staff qualifications and readiness Lead internal audits and respond to external inspections or compliance reviews Provide briefings and compliance updates to facility leadership Maintain secure, accurate, and confidential personnel files and training records Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory or credentialing concerns
Assignment Details:
W2 Contract (no benefits) Housing and meals included on base (no per diem or travel reimbursement) 84 hours/week – 12-hour shifts, 7 days/week
Rotational Schedule:
3 weeks on / 1 week off
Project Duration:
12 months
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in compliance, credentialing, or regulatory program management (required) Corrections or law enforcement experience strongly preferred Proven ability to design and implement policies and procedures in high-demand settings Exceptional organizational, leadership, and documentation skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, credentialing systems, and reporting tools Must be able to pass a background check Comfortable living and working on-site in a secure facility Proficient in English (spoken and written) If you’re ready to lead a high-impact compliance program and ensure operational integrity in a critical public safety environment, apply now .
