Job Description
One of our growth clients is looking for a strong Manager to help provide ownership over the annual SOX function, implement & improve internal controls/processes and act as a strategic partner cross functionally. This professional will provide guidance around Risk optimization, SOX, and the Internal Control framework.
Responsibilities:
Assess risk, identify and improve control gaps, emphasizing accountability across the organization. Own the SOX program – planning, documenting, testing, report. Act as primary point of contact for external auditors. Improve current design of controls, streamline processes and implementing efficiencies. Collaborate cross functionally with stakeholders of the business, meeting risk and compliance initiatives.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience within public accounting audit or risk advisory. SOX compliance, internal audit, or related experience with public clients or a public company. COSO framework and SOX compliance program exposure. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
