Position Summary The Field Quality & Compliance Manager (FQCM) is responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing quality assurance and compliance protocols for appliance installations in new construction projects. This role requires a strategic approach to field operations, ensuring adherence to municipal codes, safety regulations (OSHA), contractual obligations, and client specifications. As a key decision-maker, the FQCM provides guidance to construction managers, third-party carriers, and internal teams on quality control, compliance, and risk mitigation strategies. The role involves non-manual labor focusing on policy adherence and auditing to uphold service excellence. The FQCM routinely exercises independent judgement and discretion with respect to these matters but also collaborates with senior management to drive continuous process improvements and regulatory alignment. Key Responsibilities Strategic Quality Oversight Develop and support implementation of readiness and quality control standards for new construction appliance installations. Conduct detailed audits to assess compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices. Analyze operational gaps and compliance risks, implementing corrective measures through policy development and procedural enhancements. Serve as the primary escalation point for assigned local market’s quality disputes and regulatory compliance issues. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Mitigation In concert with Client Services, Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure adherence to municipal building codes and client specifications. Complete safety and compliance audits, enforcing OSHA standards and company policies across active job sites. Advise senior leadership on compliance risks and legal implications related to readiness and installation standards. Handle incident response reporting and also participate in a RCA of the situation and communicate the findings. for quality failures, non-compliance cases, and work-related hazards. Cross-Functional Leadership & Policy Development Provide guidance to construction managers, third-party carriers, and internal teams on quality assurance and compliance expectations. Collaborate with field teams, contractors, and GM’s to identify quality risks and implement corrective actions. Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices, adapting company policies accordingly. Represent the organization in high-level meetings with clients, builders, and regulatory bodies on compliance matters. Operational Strategy & Continuous Improvement Drive data-driven process improvements by evaluating readiness failures, installation defects, and compliance gaps. Implement performance metrics and reporting systems to track compliance, quality assurance, and contractor adherence to standards. Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and optimize field operations. Develop training programs and quality workshops for the delivery and installation process as needed Minimum Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience) High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required?? 2 + years of experience in quality assurance, compliance management, or field operations leadership within construction, logistics, or appliance installation industries. Strong knowledge of municipal building codes, OSHA safety regulations, and quality assurance methodologies. Experience in training, coaching, and leadership in a cross-functional environment. Ability to analyze complex regulatory issues, identify risks, and recommend solutions. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience handling client and contractor escalations. Proficiency in data analysis, audit reporting, and compliance tracking systems. Must have reliable transportation to commute to the workplace and attend client meetings as necessary.
