Job Description

Operations Compliance Manager 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Center Hill, FL 33514 Hiring Immediately! Join our team! As the night compliance manager, you will ensure a safe work environment and support management in driving efficient labor standards in our food processing facility. From a safety standpoint, the role includes monitoring workplace conditions and workforce practices, enforcing OSHA regulations on-site, conducting risk assessments, implementing corrective actions to prevent workplace accidents and injuries, leading safety training programs and maintaining safety documentation in-line with company policies and government regulations. From a labor efficiency standpoint, the role will include monitoring time clocks and punch ins/punch outs for all employees throughout shift, updating crewing guide and attendance daily to reflect actual positions, and compilation of reports with respect to hours and gang time. This position will require close collaboration with members of plant management to ensure duties are carried out effectively.

Key Responsibilities Daily Safety Walk:

Conduct a daily safety inspection of the plant premises, report findings to plant management and develop and drive corrective actions based on findings.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations and company safety standards and maintain accurate and timely records documenting said compliance.

Employee Training:

Ensure that all employees receive complete and timely training in such focus areas as lockout-tagout policies, PPE policies, pallet jack and forklift certifications, etc. Maintenance of all records related to employee training. Continually update training based on best practices and new regulations

Safety Equipment:

Monitor proper usage and maintenance of all safety equipment. Ensure employees are properly utilizing safety equipment

Incident Response:

Investigate workplace accidents and workers’ compensation claims. Implement corrective actions based on findings

Time Clock Monitoring:

Monitor timeliness of employee punch-ins and punch-outs at beginning of shift, end of shift and through all breaks during shift and report in detail on employee hours as compared to labor standards for the production day.

Attendance Monitoring:

Monitor employee attendance and prepare detailed crewing guide each day based on actual positions of employees on the production floor.

Labor Reporting:

Prepare daily report encompassing labor efficiencies, line speed efficiencies and hours. Strong communication skills for necessary interactions with both employees and management. IND_dadecity
