At TD SYNNEX, we are looking for a dedicated Regulatory Compliance Manager to oversee our compliance operations related to Export, Import, Hazmat, and Cash Compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team, develop training materials, and ensure our operations meet all regulatory standards.
What You’ll Do:
Day-to-Day Management:
Oversee daily regulatory compliance issues, ensuring adherence to Export, Import, Hazmat, and Cash Compliance regulations.
Training Development:
Create and conduct training sessions for internal teams and foreign subsidiaries to promote compliance awareness and best practices.
Audits and Reviews:
Perform regular audits of the US Regulatory Compliance department and related operations, addressing any compliance issues that arise.
Cross-Departmental Support:
Respond to inquiries from internal business units and external governmental agencies, providing expert assistance on compliance matters.
Data Management:
Manage compliance data, including third-party product classification and ensuring consistent, compliant data across multiple ERP systems.
Project Management:
Lead initiatives to monitor, track, and report on compliance gaps and process improvements, preparing responses to formal inquiries from governmental entities.
Team Leadership:
Manage a team of 5-6 employees, including remote staff, fostering their technical and leadership development while ensuring compliance with departmental SLAs.
Performance Monitoring:
Conduct periodic on-site reviews of distribution center activities related to international product movement, optimizing compliance processes.
What We’re Looking For:
3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience. 1 to 3 Years of experience directly managing / supervising employees. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Some College required. Execute instructions and request clarification as needed. Perform basic clerical tasks and data entry with mathematical calculations. Attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency. Communicate clearly and interact effectively with all management levels. Negotiate skillfully and promote ideas persuasively for mutually beneficial outcomes. Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills, driving tasks to completion. Work independently under minimal supervision while maintaining confidentiality. Build effective working relationships and exhibit sensitivity to others’ needs and concerns.
Working Conditions:
