Make your mark for patientsWe are looking for an Ethics &Compliance Business Partner to join us in our Ethics and Business ∬egrity pharmaceutical team, based in our Atlanta, Georgiaoffice.

About the roleYou will provide expert advice to ensureappropriate development, interpretation and implementation ofcompliance strategies, policies, procedures, and programs forassigned geography. Implement and secure a robust UCB Ethics &Compliance program ensuring that requirements for Ethics &Compliance are effectively implemented.

Participate in US leadershipteams and other governance bodies to provide Ethics & Compliancefocused input and leadership, including independent perspectivesand advice on strategy and tactical plans and activities, as wellas regular updates to senior management on Ethics & Compliancerelated matters as needed.

Implement US Ethics & ComplianceGovernance to support implementation of robust Ethics & Complianceprinciples in partnership with business leaders.

Who you’ll workwithYou will collaborate with the Ethics & Compliance leadershipteam and peers to embed and foster an ethical mindset and cultureas well as designing, implementing and continuously improving aneffective compliance program across UCB organizations.

What you’lldo Implement compliance strategies, policies, procedures andprograms. Support the compliance risk management program to identify andeffectively manage compliance obligations for UCB. Collaborate with Ethics & Compliance global resources byinforming about US needs/problems, share existing best practicesand solutions (in view of scaling up), co-create global solutions(incl. regional pilot), support implementation and monitor solutionimpact. Support business stakeholders by providing independentperspectives and advice utilizing Ethics & Complianceinsights. Assist the UCB related sites in the development of educationalplans, materials and resources to educate employees in the overallobjectives of the Compliance Program and specific substantive areasof compliance for their organization.

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree. CCEP/CCP-I or alternative Ethics & Compliance EducationProgram. Healthcare regulatory and/or consulting experience of at least5 years.

Preferred:

Master’s Degree. Law (J.D.). Knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards. In depth understanding of key US business integritytopics. Hands on experience in operating compliance controls andunderstanding of industry best practices related to compliancecontrols. Excellent and effective communication skills including grouppresentations, and one-on-one interactions with employees at alllevels. Ability to establish and maintain credibility and trustthroughout the company. Discreet and able to protect confidential information.
